It was the year 2008 when I first met the Shetland Sheepdog, and from that moment the boundless love for this small but energy breed has increased day by day.

The interest and the great passion for dogs has always been part of my life, but unfortunately I have always fought against the rule of the house: "you will take a dog only when you will not live with us anymore. '' Then I devoted myself to cats, ducks , turtles, chickens and rabbits.
One bad day my beloved cat passed away, I loved him a lot and losing him was really painful for me. Sadness hit me and it was really a blow. My parents, seeing me in this way, decided to allow me to take a dog, it should be small.
I searched for a long time online, sifting through the many breeds, then I fall in love with this little shepherd from the noble origins, and was immediately a thunderbolt: a dog of small size but so elegant, beautiful, active, energetic.
Shetland was all I wanted to find in a dog.

first meeting with Arky

Finally, after months of waiting, in July 2008 my life as a "shetlander" began: I went to pick up Arky, my first puppy of dark sable color.
Initially I did not have much time to dedicate to him, I played volleyball at a competitive level and the school took a lot of time. He followed me to the competition, he came to the gym with me and he enjoyed watching the ball from the stands. After a few years, life has faced a choice to me: I could dedicate myself to volleyball at high levels and make a career. It was a difficult period for me, I had the road paved for a great sporting future, but the heart was turned away, towards the dogs.
So I decided to take over the reins of my life and ride to the passion that I always had: I left the volleyball, ambitious as I am I could not continue in a lower level team because my character pushes to always aim high in what I do, so no volleyball anymore. Fortunately, my mother, over time, managed to understand me and began to support me and help me realize my dreams.
So, with the help of a mother-taxy, a series of practical experiences began with Arky: puppies course, basic education course, agility dog and pet therapy operators.
I shared everything with him, he managed to conquer and influence not only me, but my whole family: he came with us everywhere, traveling all over Italy and even abroad.
Arky started what became my biggest dream come true: my life, my work and my passion for dogs, with a boundless love for these little shepherds.

Now I am 24 years old, I study Animal Breeding and Welfare, at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Milan, I am a dog trainer of 3rd level FISC agility dog and I work as a dog sitter and wedding dog sitter.
My shetlands live with me at home, no box, they are part of the family.
In August 2017 I had my first litter with Olly from which Kiwi was born.
I have many ideas and ambitions for the future: I will always thank my family, my mother in particular, and my boyfriend Jacopo for the support in all my projects.
