THINGS TO CONSIDER BEFORE APPLYING FOR A PUPPY:
1. Be sure every member of the family agree in bringing a puppy at home
2. Do you feel financially able to cover the cost of a well bred puppy, vet, maybe training courses, food etc?
3. Do you feel you have enough time to train and socialize this puppy and follow the growth?
4. Is there a way you can take time off work for a few days while the puppy is settling in?
5. Who will be responsible of the puppy when you will go on holiday if it wont come with you?

PREPARING FOR A NEW PUPPY:

1. Be sure to have everything you need before the puppy will arrive at home

2. Puppy-proof your home: be sure that all this will be out of reach:
plants, electric cords, paperwork, small objects like paperclips, brads, pins, earrings, shampoo and chemical bottles, etc

3. I can highly recommend to take part to puppy classes, or obedience classes, to know more about dogs communication and how to have a trained and educated puppy.

4. If possible, take a pause from work when you will take the puppy to help it to settle into the family
5. Search a vet and plan an appointment for the first check with your puppy. Find also a vet clinic open 24h/24 and 7 days/7 forevery kind of emergency you will know where to go.
